Financial Controller (Junior)

Position Overview

As a Financial Controller, your primary responsibility will be to support the financial operations of the organization. You will assist the head of bookkeeping and the business controller in monitoring and controlling financial activities, analyzing data, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This role is suitable for individuals who have recently graduated or have limited experience in financial controlling and wish to develop their skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including invoicing, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
• Forecast Liquidity Developments, including managing in-house developed currencies and tokens: You may oversee the pricing and preparation of intragroup invoicing and for the provision of products and services to third parties. This also includes keeping production processes manageable on the basis of ERP and accounting software, our proprietary apps and investor platforms.
• Internal Controls: Assist in developing and implementing internal control procedures to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits. Provide necessary documentation and information to ensure a smooth audit process and address any identified issues or recommendations.
• Compliance: Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance with local, regional, and national financial laws. Assist in preparing and submitting required financial reports and tax filings.

Finally, you will contribute to the development of our formulas and websites and the provision of information to third parties. Together with a team of marketing, legal and IT experts, you will become the foundation of our offering to crowdfunding platforms and institutional investors. With your down-to-earth perspective on numbers and quantitative modelling and forecasting, you will form a bridge between our people, our group entities and all their relations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a plus.
• Proficient in financial analysis techniques and tools, including financial modeling and Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (e.g., AIS, GAAP).
• Familiarity with financial systems and software (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning software).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong ethics and integrity in handling confidential financial information.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing financial regulations and industry trends.
